I think it means it's a good game that has some flaw.

Arturchix, yours is same as mine, why is it that most people think 70% is too little? people play lousy 60% games all the time, so why should more than 70% be important for MMgames??

Because of the relative scores. When the series gets over 80%,having a sequel of it be under makes it pretty bad compared to the rest.Thats why I was so disappointed by HV.Its not a bad game itself, its bad compared to the previous heroes.

GameSpy happens to be my favourite site for reviews. I find them to be as objective as they can be, and whataver subjectivity is involved in reviews, GameSpy's tends to conform to my own. :)

Oh, and they sure do dish out low scores to games when they think such scores are deserved. Check this Heroes of Might and Magic iteration (HOMM IV: Winds of War) for an example: http://pc.gamespy.com/pc/heroes-of-migh ... 692p1.html

Just an FYI: you shouldn't take the 3.5/5 to mean "70%". The 5 star scale isn't the same as the 100 point system:

http://www.gamespy.com/reviews/ratingsystem2/

"3.5 Stars: Good. This game is enjoyable, engaging, interesting... Most games are 3.5-star games, fun titles that don't really shine but offer some solid entertainment, especially for fans of the genre. There are problems here, but most gamers will enjoy the title on some level."

I felt that described HOF pretty well.

Percent of WHAT?
Before you criticize someone, first walk a mile in their shoes. If they get mad, you'll be a mile away. And you'll have their shoes.

It seems like all the so-called experts don’t like the cut scenes,

but I enjoy them as it seem like down-to-earth type of stuff, plus I laugh like crazy. Damn, I like every thing about the expansion.

Having great fun, and that's what counts.
In the world of the Dead, its nice to be alive,I think.

I don't know about the exp one's, but if they're thwice as good as the normal ones then "down to earth" is the last thing i'd use to describe them.

Them again they prob are worth a laugh or 12.
