New Map: Dragon Hill

Unread postby Angelspit » 02 Oct 2006, 01:52

<a href="/https://www.celestialheavens.com/downlo ... =579"><img src="/https://www.celestialheavens.com/images ... 20Hill.jpg" align=right vspace=10 hspace=10>Dragon Hill</a> is a new Heroes of Might and Magic V map created by <a href="/https://www.celestialheavens.com/search ... h">Fiur</a>. The large map puts two human opponents in a duel for the control of the land:

<i>"For so long the "Dragon Hill" has managed to keep these two settlements apart. But there is a rumour spread over the hilly ground. The King on each side are building an Amry. And the goal is to rule these Great Hills alone.

Be prepared..."</i>

<a href="/https://www.celestialheavens.com/search ... hp">Battle for Androna</a> has been updated because of a problem found by a tester. The extra large map will find its way to the map database as soon as its testing is complete. Stay tuned.

Excellent idea to replace the ugly mini-map with an overhead screenshot :).

on my map you will be able to "enter" the wagon next to the Windmill and a few other "bug" I'm working on that..... (I tryied to "mask" it but when I did that the items dissapear from the map.... so I'm try to work "around" that thing..... if anyone notice any other bug's plz msg. me... :) (the biggest issue are: the strenght of the creatures guarding....... that may change when the "masters" from ToH testing this map.... :)

English's not my native language too, but I think it would be better if the description reads: "Until now he "Dragon Hill" has managed to keep these two settlements apart..... But a rumour is spreading over the hilly ground.... etc.."

Nice map. already played and won. The biggest problem(future maps)

would be the complicated script function.anyone can make simple maps with lots of action..but for a plot or a true RPG style maps a script expert is needed...

I'm still waiting for a script fun-made tutorial to catch on the basics before i post my maps. the Ubisoft help files didnt have any examples that could help.

btw -Hebrew is my 1st language - english is 2nd - spanish is 3rd .

;-)
