So far i like the first one with dead angel, monk and devil most. Some with half-naked dark elves are nice too :p

I kinda feel bad for some of the others. Granted, they are better than anything I could ever do, but these people submitted them thinking they were great and then had to see what they were up against with quality like that first one.

I agree; that first pic is heads and shoulders above the entires, which are all of very good caliber. Notice the detail in the shadowing and the color schemes, as well as the emotional reaction it inspires. Fantastic realism in a drawing. Without a doubt, that picture is the winner.

There are many amazing drawings here, but I too think the first will win. Those little 'faction posters' are also very good.

My favs are the one that everyone else likes (dead angel) and the one with the champion rearing up with the angel behind him and a dragon facing them. All of the art work is amazing, but I would like to see those two in a splash screen on heroes V.

Although I agree that the first picture is really amazing, I'm kinda bothered with the dead angel's arm. It looks way too short :s

That's because it has been chopped in tiny little pieces; those Inferno creatures are nasty! Anyway, it's my new wallpaper now.

wow! v impressive artwork. My favorite is probably the first one, as well, but another one really struck me. there is one with a cavalier fighting off a pack of demons, surrounded by an orange, firey haze. stylistically, i love it, but it needs more intensity in the cav's actions.

If I have to pick a favorite, it'd be nr. 8, the one with the Black Dragon and the Knight clashing (do you use that word here, clashing?). I just think it's more old HoMM style... I don't know why... It's just something... But Nival would probably choose nr. 1, because of the new HoMM look that's over it. That is also my close second, do not doubt! I like that one very much as well. I like them all in fact, and the one i dislike the most is still at least a 100 times better than what I ever could've done. All those people that competed - they got talent. And they worked hard. They should all be rewarded for that.

What I want to do now is get permission from someone, somewhere, to use the 1st, 2nd, and/or 8th pictures in some way for the Oracle League site, or to have the authors do something new for us. =)



Those are all damn good pictures.
