Unread postby Angelspit » 13 Sep 2006, 15:52

All versions of patch 1.3 for Heroes of Might and Magic V can be found here. You can quickly install the update by using the auto-updater, as long as your game is updated to 1.1 or better. The changelog can be found at the Round Table (thanks evilp).

yeah, I did...the 3x3 duel is pretty cool, but there are still some "bugs"

Like I played with 3 random heroes, galib and eruina most notibly...and right before galib died I pumped out a phoenix, some firewalls and other spells which stayed after he died so it helped eruina whoop up on the computer. This might be the way it's meant to be and I thought it was really cool that my phoenix was fighting with another hero but that's probably unfair.

The combat is finally faster, much faster.

Well, the ATB works perfectly now. And the game runs much smoother overall. They indeed added allied MP maps too. They re-did the costs of some Academy dwellings, the Colossus dwelling got an 8000 gold reduction. Overall, I'm quite pleased. And I also find it quite funny that the "enought" is still there. :O)

Well I downloaded it. The map editor is there and it seems to work. Looking forward to the fan made maps

I played a little bit and the adventure map felt smoother, as in optimized better. This may be psychological however.

Hey, it says they changed the Calvary Commander's(Paladin's) Jousting Bonus to 5% of damage dealt instead of 5% extra for each square traveled.

I like this, because Paladins were way overpowered damage-wise, but it is strange that they are overpowered in thsi game and not the previous ones where the skill details are the same. /:0

The auto-update function doesn't work for me - keep getting an error message.

I'm having trouble with the auto-update as well ... might have the wrong checksum listed, because I tried twice and both times it came up with the same checksum but not the one it said it was supposed to.

Well, I've uploaded the European Collector version on the lamp if anybody needs it. I know some were having problems with the ones on Ubi.com.

Autoupdate worked like a charm for me. I have European Standard version.

Hmmm - error in the autoupdate process here too:

The downloaded file CRC does not match the CRC specified in the version file.

The downloaded file had an error.

Same CRC issues here with US Limited Edition, this is getting silly.
