Patch 1.3 Tomorrow

Unread postby Cleanpea » 13 Sep 2006, 09:40

I've been playing H5 since sunday night, and I like it. The third patch comes very quick for my part, and I have not experienced many bugs at all. (because of patch 1+2?) But they cpuld have patched the cutscenes away, they just made me laugh. Poor developers

argh they are breaking it more with every patch i didn't even install 1.2 due to the spell effects speed and summon creatures now takes move points??what is this?this is quickly becoming an insult to homm i am sorry i ever spoke so bad of homm4 alx516 what r u talking about that can and will never happen homm3 will always remain the best in the series due to 3d0 that was wise enough to not listen to fans too much.same reason blizzard had so much success all those years and why the computer gaming industry sucks so much these days(developers listening to people)

How is listening to the community of players who in turn are going to invest in your product a bad idea?? You develop your product based on the type of auduence your focusing on. Blizzard is a *good* example of how listening to what people want reflects your success. Blizzard's WoW for example was built to support a large variety of players and *what they wanted*, and look at it's success thus far. I personally think Ubisoft is doing a better job supporting Heroes then NWC or 3DO ever did. If, as you claim, 3DO and NWC never listened to there fan base, then by having them go bankrupt and out bussiness seems to be a good indication that that method wasn't producing results...

Let's admit it ... we all loved H3SOD because we knew the game, and the spells, and the creatures, and so on .... But because of this we needed a new Heroes, with changes. Agreed, not all change is for the best, but the changes in Heroes 5 can and WILL lead to a game that can be at the same level with H3. The Multiplayer part will decide.

Just my luck. I don't play multiplayer maps. Oh well. I guess in a few months someone will come out with a map. Hopefully a few single player maps will surface, too. :)
