@ kentjn, that story is really sad, typical people who don't care about stuff, getting the goods in the end.

Oh well, can't complain too much, as I applied for bete, but don't really have the time either (not that I got chosen).

Hey, I was wondering what the turn-down rate would be (20%?), and do they re-offer those that have turned down.

and a few more twist I forgot in the original post:

One of them have new pc - the other has one that might not run the beta

One of them checks inbox for betamail every hour - the other one never checks its

One of them calls the other "THE MAILS ARE SENT" - the other responds "ok, I'll try and find the time to check my mails during the weekend"

One of them tells the other to check right away or he is a ****

One of them would have played the beta constantly since the start - the other one hasn't played it yet (!)

and @ Marzhin:

One of them is going to visit the other one this weekend - guess who :-)

Soooo.... did anyone actually play the beta yet? Or did CH not get any first-round winners?

Beta testers have signed a non-disclosure agreement, meaning that they are not allowed to say anything about the beta.
I'm on Steam and Xbox Live.

I dont see what the point of having to sign a non-disclosure agreement is if you got in the Beta...Give it a few weeks max and you will probably be able to find info/gameplay movies all over the net. Its just a matter of time before someone leaks something anyway.

Falsted,

The point of signing the NDA is that you agree to help Nival and Ubisoft test the game, and you agree not to leak any information. Those who leak information will at least be kicked out of the beta, and at most be fined $50,000.
