The evil gremlin that will be with the game will be the Trojan horse virus STARFORCE that will be sent to every lucky user. No Thanks

Say, does the my profile --> groups --> Heroes V Beta tester group garantee a place in the beta. It's the groups function of the Ubi Forums. I saw some on the official forum about having a group, or not means you're either in or out??

@ Apeman: Yes, if you can access that particular forum then you will be a beta tester (though I'm uncertain of whether this garauntees you a spot in the very first group of testers).

I don't recall being asked anything about my comp when registering to the beta, only about my history with playing HoMM. Did anyone get asked about their system?

I still think if STARFORCE messes with your computer they should fix your computer, that means they have where you dowjn load or show @ your place.
Let them think they are winning, when they find out they are losing, its too late.

Having a P4 system running @ a 800FSB + two cards of RAM of at least 512Mb @400FSB(total of 1024Mb) + a graphics accelerator card allowing avanced 3D resolution with 128Mb extra video buffing, is, quite a minimum requirement for such immensely advanced interfaced game.

Besides, new computer owners of today, will undenyingly have the AMD 64bit processor and 1600MhzFSB type system; they're available in North-America at the low price, in between, 600 to 1000+dollars canadian & american currencies.

So, I quite, recommend saving a little more money than usual to make the real upgrade jump in your gaming/video playback's new life.

Enjoy the new 886+computers everyone!!!

To answer many of your functionality questions: A 486DX4 will definitlely not cut it. Maybe the P3 1.0Ghz will do, but not too sure on this one.
