Heroic Corner just posted 30 new screenshots. I added them over at the Lamp too. But I just thought you guys at CH should have a heads up. We get our first images of the new anti-haven/renegade town too. I'm still quite unsure of a name for that town though. Renegade has been tossed around lately, but that's kind of sketchy IMO.

And where I can find this can you give a page address? Thanks.

And is there a Dwarf town screenshot anywhere on the net?

What is the name of the dwarfs castle? Glacier or Fortress i saw but these not officially proved.

Very very interesting screenshots. Wonder what this does to balancing especially since it's not done. The units look cool but are all humanoid w/ a magma dragon so seems odd.

Definitely could be cool.

No!!! Don't have simultanius turns! It'll ruin it! I hope fervently that they have the option to turn it off.

It is an option.

Also, you could use 1 post for both of your thoughts.

I had the day off from work. I just got lucky on the timing. If it had come out tomorrow...the site wouldn't have gotten updated for a week or more. :O)

and yes, we got a nickname for the magma dragon! T-rex-on-fire! It'll be added to the glorious line of big bad ape, fire chicken, and others.

seriously though, it's clearly visible nival and ubi put a lot of thought into a coherent town.
I have probably offended you in this post. if you take it too harshly, it's your own responsability. I, for my part, never intended to.

CARAVANS ARE BACK!!! I think that I am now really gonna play the game more :D

Also, those renegade humans are cool as well. It seems that we will get two new factions.

I'm not impressed by the renegade humans. For all it's shiny graphics, they can't even make two full new towns, one of them has to be recolors... I'm hoping it's just rumors and the recolors are plain old Haven units in a campaign or something.

Then again, I should be cheering: Less time spent on the Shiny (tm), more time spent on the game itself. And dwarves rule big time (Bear riders!).

I'm just worried that the whole recolor town will be unoriginal. And not goblins.

I want mah gablans!

Those were sort of my sentiments as well.

I wonder if they are making these 2 group without considering balance changes. How can they? They are still balancing the original. This is compeletely possible. Maybe they leaked the information to keep people interested in the series. OOO new town, shiny graphics! I look at everything through a microscope and am still very skeptical.

Perhaps in the expansion-editor, there will be easy swapping of unit's colors and names? And this is an example from the dwarven campaign. Perhaps this editor is a very customizable and pioneering editor, to make it different from the rest

@McArrowni

About the renegades: Somehow they look a bit diffrent I think. Especially the Inquisitor, Knight and Peasant...

@dragonn

Thats because they used concept art pictures on these guys.So they released crap in the original just to save the good stuff for the expansion.Interesting strategy.
