Don't care about Apple II games, way to old for me.

But I found out a part of why HIV failed. The deaththreat. It made him quit!

Entirely to sensitive, Greg.

Maybe you should read the article a bit more carefully. He didn't leave because of the death-threat. He left because management forced him to scrap the Forge town.

Maybe you should both read the article, and do a little historical research. Greg quit because of managerial conflict with Mark Caldwell. Part of which was, "One fan was so angry at us for even considering introducing science fiction elements into the Heroes series that he sent a death threat to Greg. Naturally, this rattled my designer, but when our management made light of the threat, Greg was so incensed that he quit his job."

The Forge info was nothing new to me, but the personnel cuts that affected H4 so much was interesting. It explains a lot.

I said it was a PART of why he quit. The other part was that management made light of the threat just like Tessraven says.
