This is "Supurb" work! I am swept off my feet! You guys are the 'best'! Nival/Ubi ought to hire you all.. This was a lot of work.. I am so proud of you all.. I cannot express in words how fantastic your manual is.. I downloaded it and am going to print it out.. Thanx so much.. You guys are truely Champions!!!!!

BTW, did you notice in ubi's manual, they also had errors. One being, in the section of the Game settings, under audio/graphics, it shows
1. Full Screen option,
2. Simple mode option,
3. Water reflections option
4. Sample mode option
which was NOT implemented in the game at all.. Isn't that weird.. wonder why they didn't implement those or did they have them and at the last minute, do away with them.. darn, I myself wanted that Screen mode option.. I want to be able to choose to use the windows screen myself instead of the full screen.. I hope they re-implement that feature. :D
How you Treat people & what You Do or Don't Do will someday come back to "Bite You" or "Bless You". The Choice is Yours & will Affect You Today & Everyday of Your Future. Granny

You can set the game to run in window mode manually.

Find your user.cfg file,located here:
C:\Documents and Settings\**your name**\Documents\My Games\Heroes of Might and Magic V\Profiles\**your profile name**\user.cfg

Open the file with notepad and find the line that says:
setvar gfx_fullscreen = 1

Change the '1' to '0' (zero) and run the game, it now runs in a window.
I was lookin’ back to see if you were lookin’ back at me to see me lookin’ back at you.

I don't know if normal difficulty level custom games are different than the normal difficulty campaign, but in the campaign the AI will often move their units up just a few spaces as to stay out of the range of my melee units. I've also had Ressurection spammed against me, which is a level five spell. In the manual it says that at normal difficulty these won't happen.

This is sad... the Ubisoft company can't even do their own documentation and has to rely on fans' effort.

Thank you, guys. Compared to yours, the official manual looks ludicrous.

Nice! but... no description for the effects for the grail building for each town?

For instance, for the Necros it says it boost money, growth, and necromancy skill. How much?

Oooooooooooooh Wow!! This is GREAT! Robenhagen, Pitsu, Gaidal Cain, Caradoc and Kalah … You the Man! (errr men & woman). This manual is just what everyone needed and you guys did it. Thank you so much.

Now if you guy could do it, why couldn't UbiSoft/Nival have given us a decent manual? Anyhow, thanks again. :-D

This is an amazing piece of work, which ought to put Nival to shame!!!The original manual that comes with HOMM5 was really lacking in key information, and we have been waiting for their updated manual which they promised us for weeks.. and weeks. We've paid them our $$$, but they have not delivered. I am so glad that Celestial Heaven stepped in to help.

Wonderful! I was pleased to see a more complete creature ability list. I still don't understand "lay on hands" though -- and in fact (I hate to even say it!) it was the only place I found a typo, too. Must have been since I was really looking to read what that did. "Thousen" should be "thousand"... but who cares? What I really want to know is what it meant about healing a phoenix for 1,000? I can never seem to have this ability trigger...

By the way the training building and other tutorials are amazing. I finally know what to do with those extra conscripts!

Must be my misspelling. The phonix case is just illustrative since phoenixes can have enormous amounts of hit points. I do not know what is your problem with triggering it. During paladins turns mouse over your own creatures. If some of them can be healed (top-most creature does not hav max hit points) or have removable curses, you see a change in cursor. Click and the paladins move to your creature and heal them. Should be simple.

Out of curiosity, where would we send errors/corrections to?
Far too many people speak their minds without first verifying the quality of their source material.
