Heroes Returns to China

Unread postby {CH}ArticleBot » 21 Apr 2017, 16:07

According to VentureBeat, Ubisoft has announced Might & Magic Heroes: Era of Chaos, a new mobile game intended exclusively for the Chinese market. The game will be published by Tencent and developed by Playcrab.

"This is a significant step forward in our mobile strategy, working hand in hand with Chinese developers and publishers to create games based on our existing franchises that are tailored to Chinese players and can tap into the market’s enormous potential.", said Jean-Michel Detoc of Ubisoft.

That's pretty much all the information that is available at this point. We'll be looking for screenshots and details.

Detour. Many resources for Heroes VI and VII. were prepared in China, nothing new. This is straight Ubisoft call for the money.

I remember this. And I think that I had seen gameplay too, ..somewhere.

I see nothing in common with Might & Magic: Heroes, or even with Might & Magic.

Except the name of course. It's the name which is sold, not the game itself nowadays. :tired:

Feel free to think anything about the newest Might & Magic: Heroes VI & VII but they kept the concept at least. We can be glad for them being TBS :applause:

for my share that does not look anything like Antagarich to me lol, but fair enough a fake news attempt of Antagarich is still more authentic than an Ashan of Erwin any day of the week lol

btw EvilP mate I believe you are Chinese, may I ask do you happen to know anything about these Chinese games, are they basically a fan fiction of the Heroes 3 story or what, and do you know who is advising them about the lore of Heroes 3 (obviously not Erwin because he does not know the first thing about it) lol

Because Erwan needs to smear everything he touches.

The original Might and Magic Heroes Online in China was also in the NWC setting. Hmmm.

Also, as a tangent: could Tencent become a white-knight style bidder for Ubisoft versus Vivendi? I note Tencent owns about half of Epic Games.
