New Fan Mod for MM:H7 - Wryn Pendragon: Umbramancer (WIP)

There's new fan project of H7 Add-On, it goes under name: Wryn Pendragon: Umbramancer

Developers (and they are still looking for new modders) are Lord Graa, Antalyan, Arsheesh, ticor and Maksim Bugrimov, Evgeny Korchuganov (3D Modelers).

Monsters and many faction details, including maps and scenarios are already in. As monsters there are done Scavenger, Mine Beetle, Searcher, Xenophage and Enslaver. Also some heroes like undead Yana Rane and plethora of factions, making a chance for perfect plot. Image

The project is in czech language only, with fraction of description translated to english.

Perhaps it's even possible, I'm no expert on AI in UE3, so someone more knowledgeable could tell?

UE3 documentation is not exactly clear on that matter, they cover just a basic. And that wouldn't be enough. Oak?

Better AI could be implemented but thats coding and I am not a Coding Wizard *sad Panda*

But lets see what can be done without C++ knowledge :yes:

Noticed that new units were added.

And that measn that Xel line of units was completed, with Death Bringer and Moloch, and also including Siege Units Wormor and Seal Stone.

There are new videos, where you can check them as well.

What amazes me is that there are people willing to spend the time and effort to make mods, even when the AI is worse than the Heroes II AI. Amazing that 20 years after H2, AI still hasn't improved.

Well, it didn't help that they threw out all the NWC stuff that had been iterated on for years and years - just two things they could have done better - kept the old NWC staff and kept all the old codebase that they could (I know they lost some of it).
