For those of you waiting, the 1.4 version is excellent. We still need more maps of larger size.

Isn't it tied to the Governor feature? Or that hero having to be on the zone? Of course, you might already have tested all that too. :D

I hope your nick doesn't mean you were born in 2005!

That said, from past experience it doesn't make sense to start playing Heroes of Might and Magic too early. Even an awesome game like H3, you will finish the campaigns quite early on. It will always be at least 6 months before anybody makes his own maps, and the mapmakers will need at least 1-2 years to gain enough proficiency. Even if Patch 1.5 amazingly solves everything that anyone has to complain about Heroes 7, I don't expect good maps to come out before 2017.

And as for official maps, they are never good. doesn't matter who makes them, 3DO, Nival, Black Hole or Limbic.

I have a very small chance of picking the game up at 75% discount time just to appreciate the art.
