H7: New of the game - March Part 1

Unread postby Aemaeth » 11 Mar 2015, 10:57

Dear Heroes,

The Heroes VII DevTeam has published some information about the game since the beginning of march.

First of all, the 8th part of Tales of the Ten Years War was released. With this story, players had more information about the election of Seamus na Feidh, Duke of Stag, as the Emperor. After seven years of war, people trust him to put an end to the conflicts... It was not very efficient...

Secondly, developers gave a bunch of screenshots. You can find some of them directly in our gallery.

Finally, a part of the community was complaining about the art direction of Necro faction, they gave us Might Heroes's concept and some of their abilities. Players are quite satisfied of modifications !

I base my assumptions on many comments I read some days ago on the official page: https://mmh7.ubi.com/fr/blog/post/view/ ... ght-heroes

&

Players who complain about the art direction, are unhappy about the "spider-based design"... Not necessealy about direct design of Heroes. :)

But you know taste are always questionable. :)

I'm unhappy about the design of heroes. Not going to complain because my passion for homm has been subdued after years of psychological trauma. I'm still looking forward to new game, but it's just not the same enthusiasm as I used to have.

It looks okay, but I feel there's too much time spent on looks and not nearly enough on game dynamics.

If they don't get me over there to oversee the entire thing, it's just going to be junk. :proud:

That's pretty much what's been happening since, er, forever?

Now there's this Embargo, which doesn't allow further reveals until the end of this month. Dalai spoke clearly about what would happen and all he said seems to be exactly what's been happening with this franchise.

It's sad that we might be waiting this long, again, just to find out the game is just another bland thing hardly worth of notice.
