On August 23rd, Fabrice Cambounet reached New York City and succeeded in his crazy project of crossing the United States on a bike. If you missed my previous post about this, the Heroes of Might and Magic V producer left Ubisoft some time ago and took the opportunity to realize an old dream. The journey lasted 110 days, during which Fabrice covered 7362 kilometers (from San Francisco to New York), twice the length of the Tour de France.

If you're interested in biking or any kind of adventure, I strongly recommend taking a look at Fabrice's blog. It contains some interesting comments about cultural differences between the US and Europe, the challenges that comes with such a trip (loneliness, mechanical problems, fatigue), and some insight on the meaning of life and our quest for happiness. I wish to congratulate Fabrice once again, and look forward to the story of his next adventure!

Fabrice Reaches New York!
Next on ToDo list: Biking from Les Sables d'Olonne to Wladiwostock while keeping and growing the beard. Then return to work in the MM franchise on the art direction for a dwarf faction.
