E3 & Gamescom 2014

Unread postby Kalah » 08 Jun 2014, 16:15

June is a great month for gamers on several continents:

June 10-12 is E3; the Electronic Entertainment Expo held in Los Angeles convention center. Ubisoft will be there, in booth 1023, MR 305 - visit the expo home page for more information. Ubisoft will be streaming live on their Twitch channel, and if you're really interested, there is a press conference tomorrow, which you can follow here. Following the recent news that Ubi have teamed up with NVIDIA for their AAA titles, I guess these games are likely to eat up most of the attention.

13-17th sees this year's biggest European game exhibition staged in Cologne, Germany: Gamescom. Visit the official site for lots of good information for both visitors and fans. We know that Limbic will feature there and hope to get some news about what they have in the pipeline. Another MM game, perhaps?

Nothing new about MM franchise... which wasn't unexcepted as Ubisoft focused on its main titles.

From presented games only Jast Dance and Shape Up are worth waiting for. ;)

Maybe on Gamescom we will have some news about Heroes Online. Somehow this expo in Germany seems to have more fresh news and game titles then E3 last few years.

There are just so many games I'd like to try out, even those genders I usually don't fancy much, like First Person Shooting (I do own Dead Space franchise and Doom 3, more due the horror approach than the shooting one).

Alas, almost all of those games I'll never play. I won't buy X-box, PS4, Wii-U so soon, because they are just so God Damn expensive in my country.

I'm very keen to learn more about Mass Effect 4, though, and other PC games that might show up too.

The game that has really piqued my interest during this E3 is No Man's Sky: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nLtmEjqzg7M

I hope it will be on PC too.

Yeah, sorry, I meant to write the different dates. Must have been sleeping or something.
