GOG Galore

There are several good bits available on Good Old Games right now. The one that caught my eye is this: the <b><a href="/http://www.gog.com/gamecard/might_and_m ... ion">Might & Magic 6-pack Limited edition</a></b> for $9.99. The pack includes the first six games from the <i>Might and Magic</i> series.

<center><img src="/images/news/GOGlogo.jpg"></center>

Also, there's <a href="/http://www.gog.com/gamecard/heroes_of_m ... tion">HoMM II Gold</a> at $9.99, <a href="/http://www.gog.com/gamecard/might_and_m ... nor">Might and Magic VII</a> and <a href="/http://www.gog.com/gamecard/might_and_m ... r">VIII</a> at $5.99 each. <a href="/http://www.gog.com/gamecard/heroes_of_m ... te">Heroes IV Complete</a> is sold for $9.99 (compared to $15.99 at <a href="/http://www.amazon.com/Heroes-Might-Magi ... zon.com</a>), and you can also get <a href="/http://www.gog.com/gamecard/heroes_of_m ... agic">HoMM I</a> for the same price. Returning to the "not-so-old", the <i>Heroes V</i> Bundle (H5 + both expansions) is on sale on <a href="/http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/heroes_o ... ndle">Good Old Games</a> for $19.99.

(P.S.: Although this is a <i>Might & Magic</i> website, I should also mention that <i><a href="/http://www.gog.com/gamecard/master_of_orion_1_2">Master of Orion</i> I and II</a> (possibly two of the best games ever made) are available for just $5.99, the excellent <a href="/http://www.gog.com/gamecard/sid_meiers_ ... uri">Alpha Centauri</a> and <a href="/http://www.gog.com/gamecard/caesar_3">Caesar III</a> are available for the same price and for those of you who <i>really</i> like it retro, so is <a href="/http://www.gog.com/gamecard/master_of_magic">Master of Magic</a>.)

Happy gaming! <img src="/images/smiles/big%20smile.gif">

I'm playing Torchlight from humblebundle and I'm fully satisfied. But I have MoM from the GoG, yes, for about 2$.

They sometime supress the prices more. :)

I got bored very quickly with Torchlight.
I'm on Steam and Xbox Live.

@A.S.
So you didn't liked original Diablo?

Because if you did, then Torchlite is just the same, just more modern. :)

As a matter of fact, I didn't find the will to finish Diablo, but at least I got much farther. That game was also more challenging, in Torchlight I got past the Root Golem without a sweat with my fighter. So yes, I confess the action RPG isn't really my cup of tea. :D

Hmm, I like it. I sometimes deal over 1000 dmg per a shot and arounds me is running a scatter of my pet skeletons.

Yes, the game is very easy but I like it. It's certainly more rewarding than HVi. and keeps pace.

atm I'm only at level 20.

Amulet of Yeandor wasn't so much fun, there I didn't make it to the master (NetHack)

Master of Magic is still Soooooo AWESOME!!!

I was extremely disappointed that Elemental:War of Magic didn't retain the flavor of Master of Magic!

I'd still love to see a TRUE update of Master of Magic, retaining all of what made MOM such a fun game!

Those are all great old games. I spent countless hours playing them :)

Are you referring to a game where you play as a crazy bloodthirsty psychopath, invade a tolerant settlement, where many inhabitants of different races live in harmony, and kill them all just to loot their corpses?

I lost many a weekend playing MOO 1 and 2. I liked Alpha Centauri but the time limit always seemed to get me. I also loved Master of Magic, does the current version have the bugs worked out. My copy frequently crashed though with reloads you could get through it.

Haha, good one. :D Although the same could probably be said about the Might and Magic games.

Anybody here, who owns the GOG version of Heroes 5?

I already have the Gold edition and I'd like to know whether the GOG version adds any new goodies. If so, I'll probably purchase it during this weekend's promo.

On the Ubi promotion, I got Might and Magic 1 through 8! Damn I missed those games. To this day, they are GREAT!
