Reselling DL-ed Games Legal in EU

That's not that. The term British is ancient and originally did not even include Anglosaxons and Jutes, since they weren't there, yet. The term reflected natives of the British Isles, a term used by Greeks at the time. It's not only a matter of self-defined nationality. We still use Indians for native Americans, even though this isn't what any Indian would call themselves. Since the British archipelago is a very old geographical definition, denying it is like denying you are also European.

Nonetheless, I was primarily referring to Irish of Northern Ireland. Citizens of Northern Ireland are no less British than Scottish, Welsh or English, who all have their own national identification, alongside British nationality.

Except everyone stopped using it for a few millennia until the empire decided it needed to do something about all that welsh, english, scotish, anglo-saxon, celtish, norman etc stuff so they decided to make everyone british...

And unlike the scots no irish king ever took over the english throne (and the welsh have that Prince title thing) so they didn't buy into it as much.

Also, back when the empire was still around indians (from India), canadians and aussies where british citizens too...

Ok, let me say it another way then. It's exactly the same thing when you say Americans and mean guys from the US. How's that? And that's even worse, given that America is a whole continent (or even two whole continents, depending on your view).

So, let's stop saying Americans and start saying "guys from the US". Agreed?

Does this mean you're back now?
