Luckily there isn't any such copy-protection as "DeathForce" yet.
But there are some copyprotecting backdoors made by Sony.

Boycott Sony then?

Didn't Sony voluntarily remove their RootKit copy-protection after a lawsuit was filed against them?

"maybe StarForce will be replaced with something worse like... DEATHFORCE!"

:D ...or even worse, DEATHSTAR! ;)
I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.

"Angelspit, sorry to rant, but why do you always misspell 'mentioned'? :)"

He's probably influenced by the French spelling of the word, "mentionner" and its conjugations.

I need a text editor with a spell checker. Any suggestion? :)
I'm on Steam and Xbox Live.

You could try a program that has a convenient build-in spell check and text editor called Microsoft Word.

Good move by Ubisoft. I am more and more impressed by their public relations every day. Another Credibility point for you, Ubisoft!

Most likely, yes. Even the most die-hard piracy-prevention fans would prefer a security system that didn't damage users' computers.

I too am curious as to why they dropped starforce. May be it's the rumor that's going around that starforce damages hardware? If there's enough commotion around net on starforce issue, it would make sense for Ubi to drop it, since it would hurt the sales.

Nice thing about the internet is that it gives the little guys a real voice.

Word isn't a text editor; it's a word processor with half-ass type setting feature.

If you need to spell checker incorporated into browser, try ieSpell www.iespell.com/[url]for explorer, and spellBound spellbound.sourceforge.net/ for Firefox. If you need a full featured word processor, try open office http://www.openoffice.org. Since I don't use IE, I don't know how good ieSpell is.

Or one which didn't alienate a lot of possible buyers and future fellow community-members...

Oh sure. UbiSoft getting afraid of losing buyers is gonna make me belive that lie. ;)

Well. I don't care that much anyhow. It's probably the least important thing about H5. :)
