Heroes V Demo on Thursday

Unread postby Angelspit » 11 Apr 2006, 19:03

The German page of the Might and Magic portal confirms that a Heroes V demo will be out on Thursday. Previously, a rumor on a Czech site revealed that the demo was to be released this week. So you will all be able to see by yourself why the various previews released during the past 24 hours are mostly very optimistic.

The German page also mentions a contest in partnership with fan site Drachenwald.net. I'm told that fans could win a unique and hand-made Heroes V Helmet. The contest ends on April 30th. Anyone can tell us what it is all about?

If you would like to take a look at the original page visit this link:

Hmm. Had it been Switzerland as well, and "citizen" instead of "inhabitant", I'd have a firend who soon would be hearing from me ;). Alas, it seems that I'm foiled in both aspects :S

Ah man, just in time for my wireless to stop working... Nothing like a 56k dial-up connection to download a demo. :-(

@Gaidal Cain: No, not Switzerland, which is not member of the EU and so this is the only possiblity to avoid problems with customs ... and citizen inhabitant ^^ ... who cares ;)

Edit//As far as I know, the demo will be available on Ubi.com servers directly ... fileplanet was only the beta :)

They will get hammered badly, that's for sure. But it's good to know the distribution method will be simple and painless.

There's a reason it's called laissez-faire economics.

Oh, come one. Wasn't it like this when the demo was released as well? It's no point in sitting there and hitting refresh...
