Two New Heroes have Arrrrived

Unread postby Angelspit » 05 Apr 2006, 15:25

Two new Academy heroes called Narxes and Havez can be found on the German version of the Might and Magic portal. I was hoping to see an English translation of the biographies on the English pages last night, but they have not been posted yet. So right now the only thing I can say is that Havez is one funny-looking pirate.

If you would like to take a look at the original page visit this link:

I'm on Steam and Xbox Live.

Yeah, I don't quite understad why they don't release everything simutaneously on the various websites instead of a picture on the German portal and then music on the UK board, for example.
And the chickens. Those damn chickens.

Wow! Is that the first sighting of the official map of Ashan? (for me it sure is)

Look at all the lands... Ranaar, Grimheim, Ygg Chall, Irollan, Twilight Archipelago. And the waters: Jade Ocean, Sea of Shadows, Irisius Sea... Everything sounds and looks very interesting!

Uuhh... it's a map. So Ashan is basicaly one small peninsula that kinda resembles Europe?

Oh, and the bios are up on the uk site, with the wrong hero pictures (prettier pictures though) and more themes.

I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.

And me an TT somewhere in the nameless lands in the east, a little bit beyond Stonehelm...

@TT
I haven't seen any other place where they were mentioned... or at least I can't remember right now! :)

Artifacts. And I belive you'd be somewhere in the mountains above Stonehelm. They look just right.

So, did i mention I don't really like any of the names on that map?

saying it looks like Europe is a bit farfetched.

but out of all part of OUR world, it would look most similar to Europe.

but as one can clearly see the map stretches to the east. but something tells me there will be a huge wasteland to the east. since ubi said there will only be 10 factions and 6 of them seem to live in "Europe"..

I could make a farfetched comparison with WW2 and WW1 where most participants where European but I won't. The map does look interesting, although a bit packed.

Yes, that would be a nice setting... (I wonder what happens in Stonehelm in the campaign?)

You don't like the new names (Ranaar, Grimheim)? Or you don't like all of them, including the ones we already knew about (Irollan, Ygg Chall)?

Now that was some cool heroes. And yes the map looks like europe and the south bit looks like africa or italy, greece.

EDIT: Hey guys I just noticed something interesting about the treants in the faction document, looks like they have gone on a diet!!!!! They look way better now =D And dont worry even if the emerald dragon seems a bit golden it is named emerald dragon! hope they wont change it anymore there, since they hav made the collectors edition stuff and all.

@ Orfinn: Cool!:D ..Now that you said: Inquisitor has changed also (he´s wearing a "bishop hat" nowdays it seems. And "Royal" Griffins are "Imperial" (which is logical based on storyline).

EDIT: But what does it read in former Militia Guard´s place.. Concept (which means this is not final)??

EDIT 2: They are actually "Conscripts"..

Imperial Griffins? IMO Royal sounds better. Imperial Griffons might work too.
