More Sylvan bios

Unread postby Kalah » 22 Mar 2006, 01:20

The official US site has released a new batch of Sylvan biographies, telling of beautiful bikini babes with high hair and talents for both might and magic, and guys who all sound like they would be less enjoyable adversaries than a sumo wrestling champion. And could the fact that Ossir wears the skin of a white tiger around his neck be an indication of what's to be considered fashionable in the forests?

You wouldn't look happy either with a stick up in the bumbum.

Hehe, yeah they are darn serious about protecting their territories, too serious maybe. I think Ylthin is the only exception, she at least looks happy =)

Anyone noticed the irony of a creature-loving elf having a dead white tiger's skin (in addition to that, these tigers were a part of the elven force in H4.. although that may be disregarded as H5 is set in a totally new world) around his neck?

Someone mixed the elfs up with goblins...

I don't see any irony as long as it's not an endagered species... which is very unlikely. As someone already pointed out on another thread about Sylvan heroes, rites of initiation might be an explanation to all the interesting accesories that some Druids wear. Ashan isn't Earth. ;)

What's worse: kill one tiger and wear it's fur, or make several hundreds of them go into battle with things like Devils and Black Dragons? ;)

Oh, but that's the beauty of it. After the Devils or Dragons are done with the tigers the fur is there for the taking, without anyone complaining. :devious:

The latter, of course, as it involves great pain and suffering... On the Devil's part. And the Black Dragon's. ;) or maybe not

You have it all wrong that tiger is not dead, he is just resting on the shoulders of his good friend.

*heh* Indeed!:D Tiger seems to be suffering from nightmares, I guess Ossir has trained his shoulder-muscles too hard to be a proper (soft) pillow;)
I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.

Anyone who read the interview with the comic book-art-man who came up with the drawings should know: These are not stereotypal happy pretty elves from some lame stereotypal fantasyworld. It is an excellent twist on a VERY old theme; the emotional happy pretty elves. These NEW type of elves were made explicit for this new world, and hey! I think I am beginning to like them. They are soft underneath if you get to know them properly... :)

And take the stick out. :devious:

I was gonna say something about the fact that the females don't seem to have the sticks, but then it occured to me that maybe they wouldn't mind as much as the males. Pervy treehuggers...
