HoMM Kingdoms Kicks Off With French Open Beta

Unread postby arturchix » 21 Sep 2009, 14:47

French portal Clubic.com reports that last Wednesday started the French open beta of the online browser game Heroes of Might and Magic Kingdoms which at the moment is limited to 3000 players. Itÿs possible that Ubisoft as a French company first wants to see the reaction from the local audience before making the game available worldwide or perhaps to give own players exclusive access. In the meantime, still no official news regarding the international open beta so weÿll have to wait a little.

Several players at Ubisoft official forums have observed that all available seats in the beta were filled very quickly and that at the moment there are no free spots. However, if you are French, you can still try your luck - maybe the player limit will be increased at some point later.

Clubic.com has also posted several unseen in-game screenshots and the HoMMK beta main page has some extra eye-candies as well so check them out!

Hooray, only two years behind schedule. :disagree: Well, if it's really as amazing as the wait should've made it, I'm all for the game.

Yes, indeed a "hooray" is in order. Now, what remains yet to be seen is if it's going to be as huge a success for Ubisoft as Heroes of Might and Magic IV was for the 3DO Company.
Don't worry if things are going badly today. They will be much worse tomorrow.

Homm was one of the only brands keeping 3DO from sinking.

Too bad H4 was never considered "entirely" in the formation of H5. A wtf goes to Ubisoft. Kingdoms is still progress in a capitalistic manner. We can only fight with our posts. G/L!

Good people, additionally, please understand that before an international release of MM Heroes Kingdoms the french, eskimos and martians have to get a game version playable on grand pianos.
