Might and Magic Tribute 0.43 (worth a shot)

Unread postby phamlongtuan » 20 Apr 2009, 07:00

Found this website and project by accidentally. It could be the longest project i have ever seen for a might and magic series.

However, they have earned some good base recently now. Take a look at their work.

The fact that this is actually a game is starting to scare me. Maybe it will actually come out... or not.

If u check official news, project seems dead, but if u check
the forums the last months the whole project "resurected",
has often updates right now, with a new engine. Seems hopefull :)

This is the reason it could be the longest project all over might and magic series.

However, is there anybody here can regist from their forum. I did it for three years with no luck. Always wait at accepting from board administrator.

Did anyone downloaded MMTribute 0.43 and got it to work? I have tried but I kind of not get it to run. I can do a lot of stuff but can not move my party at all. All I see is an overwiew map that I can not close.

Is this actually really MM or is it a new game? I would think from seeing this, that they programm a new game and dont mod the original (okay it is a tribute :) )

Note that you need to have .NET 3.5 installed to run this version.

I have the same problem. And installing .NET 3.5 does not change that fact at all...

MMT_0.5.rar can be downloaded from SourceForge.

Don't forget to install NET 3.5 first, if you have not done so already.

This version includes four 2D overland maps, with dialogues, items, objects and monsters.

On the overland maps you can click on houses, dungeons, wells, obelisks, chests, monster groups, connections, etc.

The questbook and the log keep track of your progress.
is it still just a map with clickable spots? wheres the 3D game we saw on youtube?
