Some modding Questions

Hi all!

I was modding MM6 for a long Time, with the MM View.
It was easy to change the textfiles and fight against an Evil Eye with 7000 HP ^^.
But now I'm playing MM8 since a few weeks but I noticed that there are no textfiles anmore .
Now my guess is that the infos about monsters, classes etc. are in the dlv, ddm or other files that I cannot open...
I googled almost in the whole internet, but I couldn't find anything to open these files...
And is it even possible to mod for MM8 because I only saw MM7 mods but no MM8 mods?

I hope anybody can help me and post some useful links .

MM7 was very balanced game - so it is easy to start MODding it.
MM8 is rather complicated one with very short gameplay and small storyline...it needed to be extended.
