Well, when you have a party of 4 Clerics, you really need a Scholar and a Cartographer!

Hmmm, crystal ball? I'm not sure really, the staff and dagger are both very fundemental and fun weapons...I'd say keep the daggers, just cause i love em! If the crystal ball is anything like it was in Diablo 2, then swap the staff for it. Staves are use primarly by mages (not sure if that monk unarmed + staff exists in mm6) while daggers are used by thieves and the crystal ball sounds like a mage weapon.
Besides, I think having two (crystal) balls will start sounding very ridiculous :proud:
Also I don't think I can imagine thieves using them...

P.S. all my posts are suggestions, even if I don't always state that. I hope I don't give anyone the impression like I'm telling them what to do :(

So you're complaining an unbalanced party isn't fair, Variol? :) Who woulda thunk it... ;)

Go hire another scholar and cartographer. They're out there, if you look hard (and often!) enough. And you can use wizard eye scrolls too... :P

Sorry... words didn't come across exactly right.

By playing four clerics, you're playing an unbalanced party. So being upset about losing the NPcs you hired to get around that seems kind of... something. I'm not quite sure what. I'd just figure it's part of the challenge you *asekd* for by playing a CCCC party :)

geez bung' don't make a bigger thing out of it than it is.

If I have to dump my NPC's for that quest, then I should have to dump them for every other one as well.

Let's see; like when I have Angela & Sharry; when I get Nicolai..
...Sherell, ..Prince of Thieves...

If I don't have to do it for those situations, I shouldn't need to do it for the other. It just saved a little running around after words, that's all.

The whole reason they put those NPC's in there, is to let you run with something other than the vanilla party. Even if you do take the vanilla party, you would still take the scholar or weapon master, the instructor or even the stupid banker...

Good point. I can sometimes take something and beat it beyond the point of no return ;)

I think the difference is that the other add-on party members are not "normal" NPCs. They're one-off unique NPCs. The stonecutter and carpenter are normal, and can be anyone. It would be nice if you didn't have to ditch your others, though...

MM7 NPCs are random as well... many's the time I've reloaded from the Temple of the Moon on Emerald Isle, looking for a scholar...

I assume the pics in this thread are what later became the legendary heroes addon for TCC. Correct?

What I'm really wondering though, is if there is a way to just change the faces/paperdolls and nothing else and apply it to a game already started. Such a mod would certainly be useful, especially for many of us who have gotten bored of the same mm faces over and over.
