broken castle harmondale map

Unread postby solitaire345 » 14 Oct 2008, 18:58

few days ago i started playing MM7 from zero - created a party, completed the scavenger hunt and went to clear my new crumbling castle from goblins and found this view. also no monsters dwelled there and i am constantly falling through the floor...

Software/hardware acceleration

I'd suggest using hardware acceleration instead of software (or vice versa).
BTW: Which OS and (game) patches are you using?

Wow!
Never saw this!
Some textures are missing?
Maybe some cutted version of a game?

OS Win XP SP2. plain MM7 with Mok's patch

no, the game is full version, i once cleared this castle, but save was corrupted. thats why i restarted the game

choosing between hardware/software acceleration doesn't help, only the textures started lagging

Maybe corrupted game files (though it is unlikely, because the installer should complain about that) or hardware (graphic card) / driver problem. Do other games work OK? Do other old (using old DirectX versions) games work OK?

seems textures got corruted somehow. Try reinstaling game itself. Also game is kinda old so compatibility problems might arise although i never seen such effects for mm game.

yup. reinstalled the game and the castle was OK. i remember once when i was in castle there was a power failure... it seems that this is what distorted the map. thank you all for help :)
