MM8 on XP questions

Unread postby dcinroc » 17 Sep 2007, 09:53

According to the info on Celestial Heavens, I need the Microsoft Windows Application Compatibility Toolkit to run MM8 properly.

Unfortunately, I cannot find this anywhere. Any ideas?

You can try the Windows Compatibility Mode, or a better solution may be to install Mok's patch.
The MM8 Mok patch is at http://strony.aster.pl/mokmtg/mm8_eng_xp.exe

Thanks!

I managed to find the Toolkit and solve problem. Everything runs fine...except for occasional "light flashes".

downloaded the MM8 patch and everything works great. I couldn't get it to load and I was wanting to play the game again.

For what it's worth, I loaded VI straight up on Vista and had no steeing adjustments to make, it;s running fine and I'm loving it as much as when I bought it (how long ago?)
