MM9 Can't promote to Scholar?

MM9 Can't promote to Scholar?

I've completed the quest to promote from initiate to scholar, but my character won't advance. I went back to the last place I saved and redid the quest, but got the same result- The guy says congrats on the quest and says he promoted him, but when I check, I find he is still an initiate. Any ideas?

Is your game fully patched? could be a bug

Did you nominate the character in question before finishing the quest?
