System Requirements...

Unread postby Marcus333 » 06 Aug 2006, 18:36

Does anyone know about the system requirements of the game? I haven't heard anything yet, but I'd like to be certain that any information hasn't been given, without me knowing about it.

If the requirements havent been released yet, then someone can just post in this thread, when they hear something...

Here you go:

Supported OS: Windows® XP
Processor: AMD Athlon™, Pentium® 2.2 GHz (3 GHz recommended)
RAM: 512 MB (1 GB recommended)
Video Card: 128 MB DirectX® 9-compatible video card
Sound Card: DirectX 9 compatible sound card
DirectX Version: DirectX 9 or higher
CD-ROM: 12x CD-ROM – 1 DVD-ROM
Hard Drive Space: 7 GB free

I'm getting some good performance from a P4 2.26 Ghz with 1 Gig of RAM and a Radeon 9800 Pro.

Whoa... that's quite Oblivion-esque.

Hopefully, it'll be just as (if not more) worthwhile.

Waiting now... 530th/900... so far it has ~8000 downloads and has a rating of 4.9/5 from over 200 votes. Not too bad, for a demo released ~ 1 hour ago.

yeah, that's not too good .... can i safely assume you are now well and truly upto date with virus protection?

and to move slightly closer to being on-topic, let's hope this doesn't happen to someone after installing this game as it would take a while to redo :D

Addendum/Fix:

DirectX 9.0c is required. Or above.

To DL: Yes it's possible, are you happier now? :D On the other hand I assume that it wasn't SATA2 drive, here with native NCQ it shouldn't be possible. Anyway it's taking some time to fry a harddrive...
