Maestro's Augmentation mod for MM7 - begins!

Today 20feb - i;ve got a birthday!
So i've decided to make a present for entire community - release a mod for MM7 - Augmentation mod.

(sorry, but russian language only in video)

"Augmentation 0.1a" by Maestro for Might and Magic 7. This modification is a author's reinterpretation and reworking of MM7, a fan HD remake, if you wish, and the basis for future innovations. Almost all graphics have been redesigned - the ground textures of the earth have become high quality full-color, all mobs in the game have been carefully redrawn and changed. Many creatures have learned new tricks and attacks. Redesigned the class system to make the game more diverse. The decor has been redesigned - the plants have now become animated! Of course, this is not MM8.5, but there are (or will be) used developments from that not completed mod. This is the first version open for public testing, there may be errors in it. A big request to write about them in the appropriate sections in VK or celestialheavens (under that post). The mod release is timed to coincide with Maestro's birthday. All the best to him, and to you - a great mood from this fashion! Huge thanks are expressed to Grayface - without it, the output of this mod would not be possible.

How to install:
1. install original MM7 (GOG version is recomended but any will work cause Grayface's patches fix everything).
2. install GrayFace's patch from his site (https://grayface.github.io).
3. launch a game for some files and tables to generate and exit the game.
4. download both files, unpack in MM7 folder BIG one and small one if you want English mob names and menus.
5. pay attension to JPG file in it - edit MM7.INI file for more juicy colors.if not - game will be more pastel-toned.
6. you are free to start a new game

Attension: USE new EXE file!!! it;s critical!!!

dounload both files: BIG one 2.2Gb + small one 5Mb (that will translate menus and mob names in english)

Feedback needed:

as i created alot of graphic work - i had no time to cheak it out! so mob's sizes could be strange! so i want you to help me with that - post a screen and your oppinion how to change a hight of the mob!
example: lesser vampire +15%. Human shooter -15% etc.
so in future patches i will fix it!

Hey!

I really like your work, adding more colorful textures was the best idea ever for MM7! I always missed the saturation, which was in 6 and 8. Also, the monsters looking good! I will definitely give it a try!

well i'm planning to do a video about that soon. but i guess small sneaky-peek won't hurt:

i'm working under char and inventory system now. planning to add MUCH MORE EXTRA playable chars, about 50-60 persons at all, 8 for elves (4 male/4 female), the same for human, half-blood (ex goblins), dwarves too. plus some additional ones as - jadame dark elves and red dwarves (red skinned ones).

but i still have no clue when i will complete it, have some difficulties in adding extra new item classes such as "clothes" as a new skill for mages

and YES - this is Blade :D

I want to wish you a Happy Birthday. Long ago, I bought MM6,MM7,MM8, and MM9 all in one package. Once I figured out what the games were about, I couldn't stop playing. I was sadden when I learned that no more of the series was going to be made. Then I read about your mods and couldn't wait for their release. As you know, I modified your Mods (The Chaos Conspiracy and MM7Rev4modR1). I hope you don't mind. This Augmentation mod for MM7 is fantastic. Right now, I am working on the original MM7 Ultimate (almost finished).

I have a powerful machine. Nvidia Geforce GTX 1660 Super with 6GB memory and 32GB computer memory and I had problems with graphics. Movement too slow. :(

thats why - you can find new EXE file in archive.
you can have all RAM of the world and game will lag cause original EXE can't see RAM!

use new EXE (MM7 Augmentation.exe)

I downloaded the file 3 times and it tells me that it is damaged

something wrong on your side: noone had the same thing.
maybe you need to update your archive-program or use another computer to unpack archive ;)
