A couple of questions for modding MM8

There's three things I wish to do at the moment, but I don't know where to look.

The first is to change the maximum values of enchantments that give stats. For instance, I'd like to be able to get an item "Of Magic" that can give up to 50 SP. In MM7 you'd do it by editing the STDITEMS.TXT file, but MM8 uses something else (as far as I know). Where do I need to look?

The second is that I want to edit the maximum cap for training halls, since I've already edited the monsters to give more experience. Reaching 200 could happen pretty quickly, and so I'd like to be able to go past that, but I don't know where to look to edit the trainer caps.

The third one is that even though I've edited the standard monsters to be stronger, these changes don't affect unique enemies like Old Loeb, Yog the Ogre, etc. As a result, these "bosses" end up being super weak. How does one modify them?
