[MM8] Asking about modding Spell behaviour

After a long time, I've returned to the series and I am working on a balance mod for MM8. I saw that there have been a lot of development in terms of modding tools for the series and I wondered if it is possible to make custom spells yet?

I would love to change the required mastery, change some numbers for attack/buff spells or create new spells alltogether (like a finger of death for spirit magic). I have skimmed through the documentation but could not find anything. So I wonder, is it even possible (yet?) to change spells in such a way?
