I still want my Relic Wand of Astrological Excursion.
I.e. the wing blowback effect used twice in quick succession, resulting in the enemy shooting upwards and probably ending somewhere in the atmosphere. :D

I tested the dragon lich ingame and found two technical problems (unrelated to the audio/visual). The dracolich gained the blaster skill in mm7 and was actually able to equip blasters, however they were invisible and nonfunctional, as well as impossible to unequip. The dracolich also could equip an invisible wetsuit which couldn't be unequipped.

In Antagarich, I also found that the Sniper promotion pickup was missing text (Picking up the quest never told me to get the perfect bow and was instead blank).

In addition, Verdant contacted my party for completing Antagarich early. Verdant gave the victory interaction after completing "Strike at the Devils" rather than "The Final Task". It's possible that its related to the fact that I missed the "Letter for YOU", encountered Verdant randomly, and then found the letter afterwards. She also gave me 3 copies of the ring as opposed to the 1 in earlier versions of the mod, but that might have been an intentional change.

Added to the Bug Tracker.[/quote]

1. The wand, that sounds amazing, I keep thinking of being 1shotted by giants in Skyrim and flying up from the hit. lol
2. The wetsuit thing you are talking about, I am prolly remembering this wrong, but I think that's how Rodril fixed the wetsuits not working on Dragons. Which meant in the early days of the merge, you couldn't beat 7 normally if you had dragons. You also would have a 5th slot down cause originally you only got 4 wetsuits. Rodril changed it so you can get 5 wetsuits, among the previously mentioned change. The blaster issue seems to me like it is a left over bug from the wetsuits.
3. The rings that you are suppose to get, got no clue, I've seen people say they are suppose to get 1-3. From my understanding, it should be 1 ring gained a total of 2 times while completing certain tasks for Verdant. Not entirely sure though as I haven't been able to find enough philosopher's stones. Hoard those things btw.
4. The rest of the stuff seems like bugs, and Templayer has that tracked already.

Edit: And apparently I suck at quoting things properly, sorry about that.
Edit 2: After browsing the forums, I'm pretty sure that this topic is the most discussed topic ever. There may be some really old threads that I didn't notice, but this topic even has the TCC mod and Maestro Mod for 6 and 7 respectively beat in replies, by double. That's freaking amazing. Thanks Rodril and Greyface and everyone else. Been loving the crap out this mod.

Pretty sure you would be close to outpacing the Flash at that point. :D I just keep getting this image of an archer moving their arm so quickly to knock and fire an arrow that each movement causes a minor sonic boom. lol And then my brain started a train of thought about how if there is a sonic boom you should be doing AOE damage in your immediate vicinity. But no, I digress, that would really not work for that game. Especially since most explosions hurt you as well.

Ok, people, this might be another pet project, but here, I˙m gonna need your help. I have 2 complete paperdolls of it and I wish you all to choose one. One is more anatomically correct (in my view), but the other works with armors and other equipment that the character will wear and carry.

Compatible with armors:

Which one is better?
Remember again, these are prototypes. They will change. ;)

I agree, I can't see a difference. Blown up, shrunk down, normal size, both pictures look the same. For convenience, use the 1st one, since it already works. Is there possibly a different photo you meant to showcase?

Nah, it's these exact 2. Look under his left (right on our PoW) armpit/shoulder bones to see it.

Ah, now that I have gone back and checked, I see it. The top one has an indent with the shirt coming off the body into a point. Where as the 2nd one is smooth. I would honestly have never even noticed the difference if you hadn't pointed them out to me Spectral. Use whichever is easiest to work with is my answer. If that means the compatible one, then go for it. I like both models shown.

Yus, I've left that indent in the 1st one just as convenience for GrayFace, Templayer and Rodril to easily get armors fitting onto him ... but I'll still take heed of both you and Crusader. I need to color his bones into more lichy colors anyways as well as (potentially) make his horns bigger ...
... and speaking of more suggestions, what color should his eye orbs be? It's why I've left his eyeholes empty for now.

The difference is almost not noticable, so I think it is better to use the one which is already compatible with armors))

Okays, thanks ... and speaking of stuff, you can find the assets for Zombie Mino at the bottom of page 133. I'd wish of you to properly convert them back into their original formats, as due to GIMP on my side being an ass I was forced to turn them into RGB .pngs and make sure nothing is wrong with them if they're imported into the game as well. Hopefully that's not too much to ask. ^^;

As for the 2nd thing, which color should Lich Mino's eye orbs be?

For the MinoLich, I would say purple. (Maybe some purple flames if possible?) I also suggest making the horns a little bigger like you had mentioned, and make them more white. It could be the background you have for contrast to showcase the model, but I'm honestly not a huge fan of how they look. I've always pictured Minotaurs with great big horns. Where as in all honesty, the MM8 minotaurs look like the runts of the rest of the species. Maybe I've been playing too much DnD and looking at those pictures for too many years, but yeah. Never been a huge fan of how that ragdoll in particular ever looked.

Wait... it could be just a perspective thing. What happens if you turn the head like 30 degrees or something? Show more of a side profile of the face? Would that make the horns a little more prominent, a little bigger? Still think the color should be more white though. Also, when I mean make the horns bigger, I prolly wouldn't go any bigger than x2 bigger.

Edit: If you purposefully did that to the first ragdoll model to make things easier on Rodril and the rest of the gang, I would honestly just focus on that model. That way you don't have to worry about making the second work.

Purple does sound promising, just gotta beware of the shade it's in. Maybe more of a blue-tinged purple could work there, will test it once I return back to editing this. Thanks! :)

When it comes to horns there, from what I saw from the infamous video I mentioned to Templayer (How to clean up a cow skull, skin, muscle and everything), it's 1/2 actual size and 1/2 perspective, since the way that the head is positioned here would make horns somewhat 20-30% smaller from our PoW. If said Lich Mino would lower his head more, then horns would definitely be bigger, but as you said, still not as big as ones from MM7, so yeah. ^^; As for horn color, believe it or not, horns are generally more stained brown than the rest of bovine skeleton counting off hooves, thus they'll definitely not be paler than the skull, instead being more dark and "filthy" if I can express it like that.

Point taken.

Thank you. When it comes to implementing new sounds for Liches + Zombies and a Minotaur Zombie condition (beware, the download link for Zombie Minotaur I've left has mostly RGB .png images because GIMP is an ass on my side. They needed to be returned back to their Indexed .bmp selves and the paperdoll also needs to be checked in order to see if it works like it's supposed to in-game ^^;), I wish you all luck you can have (you can find everything at the bottom of page 133) ... and yes, but both me and other people were discussing that since Dragons, Trolls and Minotaurs are special kind of "humanoid" (if Dragons could be even called "humanoid" in the 1st place) they aren't necessarily getting red eye orbs, like for Dracoliches I've done orange instead (like fire). For other humanoids I'll do variants of red (Vampires will have them blood red), but for others, I was thinking colors that would fit their living space more, like a mix of purple/blue for Minos and sand yellow for Trolls. That's just me though.

For the eyes, I personally was thinking a red-tinged purple, but I could definitely see a dark blue-tinged purple working quite nicely and am excited to see the results.

For the horns, since the skin is being left on, and not showing a skeletal skull, making them a little more white would bring them more into prominence. To me, I always felt like they were stubby tiny horns. Now, I'm not expecting a great drastic change. When I said double in size, I meant in a way similar to doubling the volume of something. It doesn't necessary look twice the size, but it is.
So for a lack of not being able to come up with a good way to say it, I meant like add a quarter inch to the width of the individual horns. But if changing the POV would be more simple, and get the same results, then I would certainly be ok with that. I'm not looking for some crazy design or even a large increase, just a small one to make them more prominent.

Ditto. Will get those going on his first portrait image aka the "default" one. ;)

I was personally thinking into making them look more like grey Minotaur horns there, just a bit bigger (since grey ones have them bigger), tbh. But hey, trying is not a sin. :D :D :D

Hmm, grey horns, I would like to see a picture before I make a decision on that, but my first reaction is that it could work. And like you said, trying isn't a sin. XD

Are new colors able to added to this game? Or is it set to whatever colors NWC entered in? Just curious

I've meant grey Minotaur horns, not grey horns. :D :D :P

From what I saw from all things that were added in-game (Dracolich, Ghost Dragon), the only required thing is that images should be Indexed .bmps, which is basically equal to nil for us artists that are dealing with RGB images when it comes to color limits. :D So I think that as long as you have an empty Indexed color palette (or it isn't filled to the brim) you can technically add new ones and since Templayer sent me his game's graphical assets including desert and sky tiles ... yeah, could be interesting, like making the Air Plane cloud tile be more brightened or even turning the sky blood red with black clouds.

That would be amazing for the Plane of Air. Make the glowing orbs that show the path a slightly different color, or hell one completely different. Just so that way the roads in that area are a little easier to follow. Not that it matters, by the time I get there I usually just fly. But still, I would like such a change.

Actually the more I think about it, the more something like that would actually make sense. I always thought it strange that the only things that happened in the different elemental planes were just the fact that some houses were empty and all the monsters were pissed that their lords were taken. Anyone know what kind of power the Lords actually have? Are they able to shape their planes, or does the planes shape them? If they have control over their specific plane, then it would make sense, to me, that the planes would go under a little more drastic shift than just the mobs being enemies. I felt like that was a missed opportunity. It could also be due to the limits of the hardware/software back then, I really don't know. Plane of Air, super light all around, with the lord gone, starts to become dark and shadowy. Then once rescued goes back to how it is suppose to be. (Personally I don't care if the monsters are still aggressive) Earth plane, without it's lord, there are holes opening up all over the place, maybe some water or something is coming through and showing erosion some. Then once restored, back to how it should be. Fire- not so hot anymore. Some snow starts to fall around the outer ring of the map. Some of the lava has hardened somewhat and you are able to walk along the pools of lava a little further out. The water plane. Saved the worst one for last. I'm honestly not sure at all on how address any changes. Maybe there are rock spires that are falling or shooting up out of the ground. And that's all I can think of for that.
