Why are Cuisinarts called that?

Cuisinarts are incredibly strong, capable of dealing an average of about 2000 points or more of damage per round to their opponents. They also have the deadly frenzy ability which allows them to attack up to six party members at once with a similar damage output (though special attacks can be resisted for reduced damage), at the cost of the Cuisinart's own life.
They slice, they dice, they cut you up.
You'd think Darkmoor was a ghost town, but instead there's plenty of life among the dead.
