The role-playing games (I-X) that started it all and the various spin-offs (including Dark Messiah).

1. Do you know what is difference between names Might and Magic and Heroes of Might and Magic/Might and Magic: Heroes? :P

2. Did you play or at least saw Homm Online (Chinese MMO - something similar to Heroes Online)?

3. Heroes Online was scheluded to Q4 2012. What has happened?

4. Also game was planned to have only two factions: Haven and Necropolis. Did this change and we see more on launch day?

5. What new features you created and what you needed to change from HoMM games?

6. As this game is F2P what is your plan to get money? What we can except in item shop? Bonuses to resources income, XP, additional slots or maybe "premium" creatures and artifacts?

7. What things you have to scrap or to postpone for later "chapters/episodes"?

Blue Byte, quite old pc game developer from Germany, mostly known for the Settlers and Battle Isle franchises, although the latter has been dead for a long time. They also did a great RPG named Albion. Ubi bought them up a decade ago or so and have been primarily working on Settlers until they got tasked to work on the Heroes mmo. They've done some real quality work in the 90s but I have no clue how much of that got lost in the shuffle over the years, so don't hold your breath.

Thanks,

So, if you're going there because of a new "Heroes of Might and Magic" game, I would ask them if they have the "balls" to make the next game with a different number of units in each faction, instead of every faction having the usual 7?

All these questions are for Heroes Online dev team. See their last answers in Q&A link which I posted and you understand some of my points.

As for the rest - HoMM Online was closed few days/weeks before Heroes Online was announced by Ubisoft. Not only names are very similar but also basic gameplays. And I am really curious if they played/saw HoMM Online and if they know what mistakes to avoid and do not repeat them.

Q&A
I registered!

..and those screen shots look excellent!

But my question still stands. Will they have the balls to have a different number of units per faction?
Like,
Have 3 different units for Orcs: Goblins, Orcs and Ogres??, but lots of 'em.

That would not be Heroes-style, and in my opinion, would ruin the gameplay that was established since Heroes 1.

Sounds like things are already "ruined". It's time for something new!
