crusader and paladin quests not recognized
crusader and paladin quests not recognized
Hi all I have another problem. My Crusader and Paladin quests have not been recognised. They appear in the notes as completed, but my two warriors are still showing as fighters in their stats boxes. So annoying as I cannot get their armour skills up. It says they need to get promoted. I am at a loss can anyone help? Perhaps Tolich who was so helpful and kind before could help me again. Thank you.

Try this quick fix:
1) open 'data' folder in MM9 folder.
2) create RUDE subfolder there.
3) create text file NPC89.RUDE (make sure it hasn't .txt extension) in this subfolder.
4) put this line in this file:
5) goto Keith Bloodaxe and talk to him, say him Goodbuy.
You'll probably be able to select your party members for promotion.
Note that I didn't tested these steps, I haven't time for it.
And don't forget to delete this file after succeeding, or you shall not be able to promote next time you play.
