Actually thanks for that coverage, we were able to find couple of Linux magicians that helped us porting this to Linux and MacOS.
So yes, you can now play MM on number of different platforms.

Hi, this has been going on for 10 years, still no major substantial creation known.
What's the status, highlights, and is this potentially compatible with Might and Magic Merge Mod?

Pretty sure this died like the rest of the mods.
Ultima, Elder Scrolls and Might and Magic Veteran.

Well actually not - we are working on it. It's playable on linux now and we are porting it to OpenGL and having some shader action already

Thank you for that info, Nomad. And thank you for this impressive undertaking! I just finished MM6 (at lv 439 LOL) after playing it last in '98 and feel my passion for the Might & Magic series invigorated (World of Xeen was my introduction to RPGs way back then..."before the war"...), so I'm looking for everything and anything that could help make experiencing 7 & 8 better since I never got to play them and am looking forward to it.
