I chose Sorcerer, although I like both them and Archers.

Speaking of Archers... "This is captain Jonathan Archer of the starship Enterprise!" :D

I favor the Archer due to ranged attack ability combined with spell-casting capabilities.

Druid gets my vote. They're fun to play, deciding which spells to use in which situations.
You'd think Darkmoor was a ghost town, but instead there's plenty of life among the dead.

I voted for Cleric. He is stronger than mage (chain, shield) and very useful at all MM games. The second (imho) useful person is Archer. Mages are probable the best only in MM7.

It was a toss up between Cleric and Paladins but in the end I choose Cleric. Without them I probably wouldn't have gotten through many of the situations I came across.

Cure Disease / Poison for the win.

Sorcerer or archer in mm6 , because I always like non divine(arcane/elemental) spell casters. Not to mention fact that offensive spells are really damn powerful in mm6-8.

The Ranger in MM3-5, and in MM7. Though he cannot master much skills, he is the class with the maximum degree of freedom.

I think I had a ranger once in MM7.....They can be upgraded out of Knight class, right?

No, Ranger is Ranger. Gets promoted to Hunter very quickly.

Ok, It's all coming back now. The Ranger promotion quest is one of the easiest in the game, right?

I want to say it's a delivery quest but I'm not sure.

The only you do to become Hunter is meet one person. You're not even to return to quest giver to complete it. (Yes, it even easier than the Knight's first promo from MM VI.) The second promo is to bring one thing from guarded place (easy), or to collect enough Bounty (even easier).

Thanks for refreshing my memory :D .....Another reason why its good to play a ranger class because you can focus on the other 3 party members more difficult promotional quests.
