Sorry, for the delay in updates. Progress is coming a long nicely for both the tactical and rpg version. I have done some corrections with the treasure sytem by adding an extra level of bonus'. Also for the longest tiem I couldn't seem to login to my account here. I had to reset my password. Anyways, my website is up. I just have to change the link to the games portion of the site. I'll keep everyone posted on my updates as often as I can.

Since the last update I have:
RPG VERSION:
- Added an extra level of treasure (Applies to tactical version too)
- Created a few more dungeons
- Added to the storyline
- Added more quests
- Enhanced the world map and added more areas to the world
- Added more monsters

Tactical Version:
- Added 6 more missions

It reminds me of Dragon Warrior and the combat looks like 7TH Saga, or Final Fantasy tactics.
..looks good so far.

I assume there's not a playable version yet?

Okay, I have completed a big chunk to the LOE website. The blog is up, character classes, spells, skills, and only the bestiary is left. You can check out the website here:

Be sure to check out the spells it contains all of them except the etheral magic school.

Nice additions to the site! Quite impressive! I still like the tactical game best, but it's nice to see that you are making such good progress!

BTW. Are you doing your own artwork?

The artwork is not my own. I also like the tactical game the best. The majority of the information is related to the tactical version. There will be a few differences in information due to the nature of the engine.

A demo is not to far off, I have more than enough mission in the tactical version.

Over the last few days I have been doing some balancing issues. Some spells were just to powerful compared to others.

Here is the second video to, The Legend of Erthia Tactics. The battle is an arena fight where you can go to train before taking important missions. I will have to resize animations and such, but it shouldn't be to difficult. Because I only took a video of the combat, I have more detailed information below about the characters.

Btw, the characters are created by the player or are
standard characters due to the scenario? Or player is
gonna create one char and recruit others on the way?
(like MnM 8)?

The 4 starting characters will default to this. However, you have the option to change the name, class, and roll the stats at the beginning of the game. In addition, there will also be other characters that you meet in the game just like in MM8!

Most computers should run the game. In matter of fact, when I am at work, I sometiems work on the game from my netbook.

Microsoft(R) Windows(R) 2000 / XP / Vista / 7
PC with 1.0GHz Intel(R) Pentium(R) III equivalent or higher processor
At least 256MB of system RAM
1024x768 or better video resolution
100MB available hard disk space <Expected to increase>

More levels.

I have added a couple new levels to the rpg version of the game. I am now primarily focusing on story so that I can at least a get a demo out. Based on what I tested, the game starts out fairly modest in difficulty but the further you get into the game the more difficult it is going to get. I hope you all like challenges!

Okay, I have been doing some more work on the game. I have implemented the time system, min/hour/day/month/year. Added a couple new quests. Added food and rest system. I populated most of the overworld with all the monster groups.

The Legend of Erthia Tactics is not dead. This was originally the old topic for all of the LOE versions. This will now be the topic for LOE Tactics. I have been working on this the last couple weeks as well as LOE 3D RPG. Some of the new features include:

- Being able to save in battles. Battles can last a very long time!
- Change equipment in battle.
- Area effect spells can harm both allies and enemies.
- Reflect magic
- Zombie state where healing can harm healthy characters.

I will post some screenshots and update the main post in a bit.
