I don't know.

Xfing mentioned that bug on the previous page, and I don't see a fix for it in patch 2.0. This is just speculation, but it's possible that it just doesn't show the reduced armor class on the enemy's stats (with Identify Monster), though I don't know how Xfing came to the conclusion that it's bugged. I imagine this could hard to tell for sure.
You'd think Darkmoor was a ghost town, but instead there's plenty of life among the dead.

It's probably supposed to apply "Armor Halved" effect. As far as I can tell the effect isn't applied. Probably not in the next version.

Taledon Helm is fixed in the next version.


Does the MMExtension program have the capability of tweaking artifacts/relics like that? [e.g. giving Hareck's Leather an 'Of Earth Magic' enhancement]

I'm sitting here wondering if it's possible to change the strafe speed a bit with this patch? Or maybe this has been asked before here?

Hi Grayface,

I noticed on your site that you plan to fix the Master Armsmaster / Grandmaster Staff bug in the next version of your patch (2.1). I'm doing a playthrough with a Monk who's wearing an Armsmaster +17 ring and is right outside the Grandmaster Staff instructor's house, and I'd really like to hold off on continuing until that bug is fixed :D

Do you have any idea when you'll be releasing 2.1? And, btw, thanks for all your work on making MM7 more awesome :)

Turn off timers fix for now by adding this to ini:
FixTimers=0

Hmm, I'm doing another game, and I think something might be wrong .... I am getting a LOT of Royal Leathers from treasure chests. I've found, like, 10 of them or something. For instance, I found three Royal Leathers in a chest on the top level of the Red Dwarf Mines, and then three Royal Leathers _EACH_ in _BOTH_ chests in Deyja containing a golem arm. It could be a coincidence, but dang is that a lot of royal leather -- I usually find three or four max the whole game, you know? So, I'm thinking it could be a bug in the alpha patch.

If it matters, none of the Royal Leathers have been enchanted. Come to think of it, I haven't found any of the low-quality leathers in maps first spawned after installing the alpha ... maybe it's confusing Royal Leather with the bad leather somehow? Anyway, I just thought I'd let you know about that, and thanks again for everything.

Okay yeah ... I just found three royal leathers inside the Erathian Bandit Caves. No way should those have been there. It's got to be a bug.

Add FixChestsByReorder=0 in ini, it'll probably fix it. Unfortunately, chests in previously visited locations would stay the same.

Thank you, that did indeed fix it.

One more bug report: I'm doing yet another playthrough now, this time Archer/Paladin/Ranger/Sorcerer, no Monks, but I left your alpha patch installed to keep an eye out for any bugs. I found one: damage from skill bonus is not added to Expert Spear. Reverting to version 2.0 of your patch fixes it, so I'm switching back to that at the moment, but I'm perfectly willing to test future alphas if you'd like :)

Hello there,

first time poster here.
I just installed MM7 again, picked a monk and while reading up on the class details I came across the marvel that is the Grayface-Patch.
Unfortunately I also found out about the bug concerning the monk and the armsmaster skill and was pretty happy when I saw the Dropbox-Link on this thread which was supposedly fixing the armsmaster issues.

Unfortunately that Link is down and I cant download the files for the fix anymore. I would very much appreciate if anyone could reupload that file or even if Grayface, should he read this, could rehost the files for the Monkfix and the spear fix.

Hello,

I have installed MM7(from GOG),the 2.0 patch and the mouselook feature , but I have a problem.I cannot control the group with WASD buttons , instead I still have the old configuration(the one with the arrows).I installed the patch and the mouselook after the instructions.I don't know if I did something wrong or the GOG version doesn't support WASD.

Add FixTimers=0 to mm7.ini to be safe. The timers fix is barely tested and pretty radical.

I should be returning to it in the near future. I've got many finishing touches to do and many things to release.
