was established in early 1999 after the merge of two humble HoMM fan sites, Celestial Heavens and HoMM III Unleashed. Owners Daemon, Lady Darkness and Belenus put together a decent collection of maps and strategies, and later claimed to have found the Armageddon's Blade cheat codes first. After his two partners left for other projects, Belenus left the site in hiatus while he worked on a custom campaign.
The site was reopened in March 2001 by Angelspit with a new design and an active news section that would later become the site's trademark. Later came Karyll, who had a brand new Heroes IV site in the works. He was joined by several contributors who can still be seen from time to time today, and in 2005, the transition was made away from Gamespy's "Forumplanet" server to the site you can see today.
The new Celestial Heavens site has since been mentioned in sites such as GameSpot, Slashdot, Blue's News, RPGDot and GameSpy. Its mission is to provide all the information Heroes players need, producer related news and files to enhance the fans' gaming experience, at no extra cost to the Community.
In 2011, Angelspit handed over control of the site to Kalah, to focus on real-life issues. The new management remained determined that the Celestial Heavens site should be a stalwart helper of the M&M Community, independent from the official sites.
In 2017 Kalah also decided to focus on other aspects of his life and handed the active running of the site to Pol and the other staff members.
