Heroes of Might and Magic V
→ Hero Screen
by Aurelain
King's Bounty Hero Screen
Aurelain, maker of the HoMM V Skill Wheel, has done it again. This time, it's a tool for King's Bounty. It's an accurate replica of the in-game hero screen, with the added freedom of browsing all the skills, items and creatures that King's Bounty has to offer.
Click the images below to enter the Hero Screens.
(Hero Screen - The Legend)
(Hero Screen - Armored Princess)
Features:
- Compendium of all wearable items
- Classification of the items according to rank (which is normally hidden
during gameplay) and cost
- Ability to see only the items that fit into a certain slot
- Equipped items contribute to the gold cost, thus giving you an idea of how
much your hero is worth
- Equipped items contribute to the hero's main attributes (attack, defense,
mana, etc.)
- Compendium of all the creatures
- Hired creatures represent the maximum allowed by your Leadership and
contribute to the gold cost
- Compendium of all the skills
- Each skill contributes to the total rune cost
- Compendium of all the wives and husbands
- Wives can have only the babies specific to them
- Ability to switch between the 3 hero-types on-the-fly and easily compare
one to another
- Hero's level can be changed from 1 to 31, having an impact on attributes
and runes
- The changes are automatically saved, so that when closing the browser you don't lose the hero configuration.
There is also a Russian screen - see below.

| Mirabelle (the pirate wife) seem to be missing from the Hero Screen of the original game. |

As I played the demo I can say that it's at most similar to Lord of Magic SE. - No town building, instead enless walking, thousands of artifacts, creatures and quests. Wonderful animations and more and more worlds.
From many perspectives not only literally infinitive game .. and evidently created in mind to to please both - men (battles rush) and women (pet dragon, tons of pretty nature).
So, with final words, I forgive the Shaman of Snake Temple that "this" quest is only available to be completed in full version. :D
~It's a pretty enjoyable game and witty ;) Edited on Wed, Dec 02 2009, 17:45 by pol |

| Wow, makes me want to check this game out... for some reason I've always thought of King's Bounty as a dumbed down version of Heroes... but it looks like that is not the case. |
