H2 Orc Chieftain.

Sturdy, cheap, good damage further enchanced by a hero with high attack and high chance of getting archery. Can be upgraded for free at Hill Forts. The best level 2 unit in Heroes2, imho.

Now my second favorite Orc is... the old Orc unit in King's Bounty! Now those ROCKED! Cheap, plentiful, could shoot and also fight well at melee.

Voted for the slayer, though I could have gone with its upgrades as well. They really look orcish to me.

The orcs from I and II resemble pigs. No, wait, they ARE pigs. ;| Looking at the three of them, I can't help but await the coming of the big bad wolf. ;)

IV's orc is also a pig, albeit a wild one, but it doesn't look as silly as the other pig orcs for some reason.

III is just too pale for my taste, though I like the green skin.

The HoMM V warriors are just not orcish enough - they seem too human.

H4 Pig-Orc FTW... with H2 Pig-Orc Chieftan in second place because the metal shirt fits better. I luvs me some Pig-Orcs.

Also, i case you missed my gloating on the random thoughts thread, here's why there are Pig-Orcs:

The old Gaelic name for the islands was Insi Orc which means the "Island of the Orcs". An orc is a young pig or boar.

H2 Orc Chieftain. Second place is H4.

The H5 Orcs are just hunchbacks. Nival should've just used the models from Dark Messiah; it would have been much better.

Voted H5 Slayer

I agree, but in the case of these Orcs, they look like what orcs should really look like … mean, dumb and gluttonous! :scared:

I liked the H1 & H2 Orcs too; but they seem almost too cuddly for an Orc … unless of course, the orc is baby Angelspit. :-D

I don't care much for any of these, but the H5 Orc Chieftain is not bad.

There are no goblins...

And except the Slayer all H5 Orcs look crappy to me... also, they're all more like Trolls or Ogres imo.

Slayers for me, very good design. Though the ponytail seems a bit funny.
I, for one, am dying to find out what colour they paint Michael's toenails.
