I think concepts are much better that their 3d implementation.
Same here, they look more "mature" here instead of cartoonish like in the game.

made me ask this question

Is this, zombi like creature, alternative upg. for Rakshasa Rani. that one on left look the same as original Rakshasa Rani or I' am mistaken

These caught my eye as well, I'm sure they are alternates. Good job Mistweaver pretty enlightening :)

The chained guys were the goblins all this time!

Wow, the centaurs really look brutal and demonic.

The orc warriors actually use another weapon according to upgrade? :creative:

Big axe for the warlords no? :D

The cyclops holding a huge log is terrifying. Love it!

I have the feeling the last pic is a battlemage.
I, for one, am dying to find out what colour they paint Michael's toenails.

Great artworks :)

I wonder what the upgrades for the bear lady will be?

Also yes..I think the last pic are a alternate mage upg, Battlemage or something.

The centaur, the zombie andt cyclops looks vile and vicious, some of my favorites. Just hope the models will draw some sharm and features from the original artwork.

Erm, hehe yeah...NOT! I guess people loves to compare these buildings (creatures) with the puny W3 ones just by a tiny detail. The buildings in W3 looks more rounded and woodish and with worse graphs. So no thanks.
Its ok to find similarities from WH, D&D, Disciples, Etherlords but from WC3? Yuk, the only game I love from Blizzard are SC all the way :)

You'll have to wait until the coming fall I'm afraid :)

Just to confirm, my limited Russian skills say the Rakshasa / Zombie picture says "alternative upgrades"!

I really like some of these images - the Cyclops looks terrific! Can't wait to the fall...

They should officially release all the artwork and update that cemetery of the official site ... Encyclopaedia is empty and time-line could be more detailed... They could at least copy the info from newsletter ...

Cool artworks! They even look better than those in the game!

It would be interesting to know if the artworks are from O. Lendroit.
I don't think so and I like the "old" Lendroit-style more than the new one.

Well, I like the new one too. But Lendroit-style is "darker" while this one is "more evil".

I doesnt matter... they will be eaten by the cyclops anyway :D
