Might and Magic mods, projects and stuff (updated)
You are probably in the wrong thread for this, but after doing a quick search on TELP.org I found...(answers in white due to spoiler)
Question:
...I can't find the map giver anywhere. I have 6 scrolls (these are all, right?) I've even checked by the bandits from the lack of better choice. It obviously can't be in Eofol since it's imposible to make it there alive without the promotion now, and I've lost all hope of finding it. I couldn't find it in the google either, actually. Many people mention having problem finding 6th scroll but this went smoothly for me. But that's it... Help please? xD
Answer:
Fly straight north from the stables in Deyja. Just before you get to the sea, you'll see a green spot moving around. That's him.

As about M&M mods its worth mention about The Might and Magic VIII Savegames
Here you will find a starting game with each class available in the game (including the Dragon) as the lead character. All the remaining characters (35 known NPC) are waiting for you in the Adventure's Inn and they too are at level 1!

I know I am a heritic for this, but I would have liked to see some reduction in the number of Dragons in Dragonsand around the Shrine. Same for Titans in Hermits Island.
It is not so much that they are hard to kill, but just takes to much time. It is not adding anything to my adventure to kill so many dragons and have to fix all the broken items and make so many trips to gather all the items from their corpses.
May a 25% reduction, would make the grind less of a chore. I often just stop the game, once I get to the memory quest as the large number of units to kill is no longer fun and the castle are a pain to find your way around.
Yes I should know my way after some 30 full games, but I still get confused looking for switches at times.

well its been...2 years? since any important update on MMT, also still the demo is just a flash "click around on windows" game.
also, from what i get is that most of the important modders has left, so its only Ribannah and like 2 others left.
i have written it off as dead.

I would be honored if the following mods were featured in this list:
Isles of Terra Monster Spawn mod
World of Xeen Monster Spawn Mod
As a cursory glance at the changelogs available via the two links might indicate, they are "Monster Spawn mods" but are so much more than that. In short, they attempt to add a "Might and Magic 2" dimension to these games, so that you never run out of combat opportunities. An attempt is made to balance the Ranger/Druid spell system with the Cleric and Sorcerer spellbooks, and the Isles of Terra mod includes a couple of bugfixes as well.
Obviously, I tailored these mods to cater to Might and Magic combat aficionados, and they may be tedious to those who'd rather play the games for the story. However, there are numerous edits that may interest casual gamers as well (such as the opened Easter egg in MM3).
Of course, I think it's great fun to go back a couple of areas to kick the crap out of monsters that used to terrorize my party when they were a few levels inferior. In my opinion that's helps drive home the feeling of accomplishment as your party gains in power.
