Might and Magic 9 -- Windowed Mode

Unread postby Bandobras Took » 02 Dec 2009, 02:29

Is there a way to enable windowed mode for Might and Magic 9? Setting up the "Toggle Window" key in the autoexec.cfg doesn't seem to have any effect.

Found a method while looking through other games that use the lithtech engine.

Add the following parameter after the target of the shortcut:

+windowed 1

So the whole shortcut target for me looks like:

"C:\Program Files\3DO\Might and Magic IX\mm9.exe" "-GOGAME" +windowed 1

Hmm I wonder if this could be typed into the Command Console in Legends of Might and Magic, which uses Litchtech v2.0 I believe. Some things are interchangeable and some aren't, because they shared some levels between MM9 and LOMM.
