Desert: Overexposed

Unread postby Kalah » 27 May 2015, 10:09

Apparently, the photographer who visited this desert in Ashan missed his shot, failing to calibrate for the high light levels and thus overexposing his shot.

Hang on ... you're saying this isn't the photography forum?

Although I don't fancy much open areas like that, because they feel bland and useless, they are realistic (I mean, not everywhere is jammed by objects, buildings and interactive stuff).

That looks like a boring map.

Panda is right that not every place should be jammed with objects, but the design should still make the exploration exciting. That one up there seems tedious to me.

I'm not sure if that's desert or wasteland. For desert I imagined more sand and less rocky mounds so if that's what it's supposed to be, I'm not feeling the vibe at all.

I actually like a mix of open, barren country with "busy" areas. In fact, some maps are so full of objects, buildings, mines, etc., that my computer slows to a crawl and you can't see the forest for the "trees" (objects, etc.).
