Um, why would orcs be imune to destructive magic? I mean, if an ice bolt should strike a unit, I don't care how imune it is, it should pierce streight through. Not just orcs, any unit for that matter. It's a sort of physical damage.
Perhaps make orcs imune to dark magic. Even then, light and summoning could have an advantage over orcs. Making them unable to cast spells, I don't see how they could compete with other factions. Unless their creatures are superstrong or have double weekly growth, like in H4.

If the orcs are immune to any kind of magic they will slaughter magic heroes.

Wizards for instance are totally dependant on magic. They get very little in the way of attack or defense. I expect that orc heroes will get lots of attack and some defense. If the wizard's spells fizzle he will stand no chance.

I read somewhere that the orcs will have a building that lets them trade resources for units and I expect they will have a high growth rate (something like a breeding pen building probably.)

GOW
Frodo: "I wish the ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened."
Gandalf: "So do all who live to see such times but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us."

let's make a comparison
the wizard (arficier - consume artifact, magic mirror, mark of the wizard, arcane omniscience)

the barbarian could have(battle rage - battle cry{damage booster}, battle orders{initiative booster}, fire aura{20%fire resistance - they were fire resisntant in dark messiah too-}, magic aura{20% resist all}
Where exactly does the rainbow end?

Gotta love how the necklace stays perfectly in place, even when charging/jumping at an enemy.
And the chickens. Those damn chickens.

Maybe it's particularly heavy, and thus the inertia helps keeping it in place... ;|

Gotta love bulletproof nudity. The less clothes a person wears, the harder they become to hit in any combat, thus justifying a complete lack of common sense.
And the chickens. Those damn chickens.

Guess Orcs will be fighting the Renegades first. And what is that werewolf looking creature in the left corner of the picture?

Wow... Wow...
Best damn Cyclops I've seen so far. This means that the ugly fat guy we saw in those screenshots is the Warlord.

Maybe not. I wouldn't put it past Nival to have one of the Cyclop's upgrades be "Armored Cyclops."
And the chickens. Those damn chickens.

Thanks Eternor! The orc and cyclops pics make the 'stronghold' look much more appealing and true to what we would expect it to be. Fearsome and savage. Especially the cyclops has demonic hints so it may be part of the beastmen, we'll see.
I, for one, am dying to find out what colour they paint Michael's toenails.

Since the minimum stats are 0,0,1,1 i suspect orcs will get 3,0,1,1 with high distribution towards attack and defense for further levels

nobodies. Haven already has alternative upgrades (renegades) thats why i said maybe a neutral. however it could also be nothing since the whole theme of that banner is that everybody is holding spears or pikes, even the swordsman, so it could just be a peasant or something.
