Saw Devil last night. Quite a solid thriller/suspense-type movie. I'd give it a 6.5/10.

You can see it for yourself - just go to Hall of the Heretics and there's a thread in Page 2, named Game Intros. Click on the last page number of that thread (which is 6) to see the page bug for yourself.

Saw Going Postal yeaterday, the third proper filmatisation of the Discworld-books. It was very good, I hope they keep making them.

I think it's the best of the series so far.

So, i just saw Tron: Legacy....

Man, does no one know how to do epic final fights... i woudl have forgiven everything (using real locations and props for TRON is so the backwards way to do it, of all films TRON is the one where CGI works even if everyone can tell it's CGI) if at the end we'd get an actual battle involving the villain and the film's namesake... instead we got some sort of lame sequel hook wannabe...

The ideas behind the plot where pretty good, the execution on the other hand... i'd have to call it trite.

Tron Legacy summarized: http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2010/12/22 :loll:

The original TRON is the only true Tron ... I mean, wtf is up with Hollywood and recycling movies? It's cheaper and quicker than developing an imagination, I guess ...

David Warner and Bruce Boxleitner FTW! :-D

Also, the one-liners from when they where in the games where so out of place...

But i was more dissapointed with the fact that the idea itself had so much promise...

Just browsed imdb.com to see whose birthday it was, and noticed that Val Kilmer has gotten really, really fat since the days of Top Gun ... I mean, I'm no sprite, but damn ...

Also born on this date, Ben Kingsley and Anthony Hopkins. :hail:

Just waching King Kong on the telly, and it's as you'd expect with a remade classic - full of plot holes and strangenesses. I mean, why would a dino predator expend lots of energy trying to chase down a little blonde when it had already found food? :|

Indeed. Reminds me of Star Trek (2009). They could have named it Star Trek: Inconsistency and it would have been even more appropriate.

Watching Drunken Master on the telly. Classic kung fu comedy - you can see where J.C. got all his current sppofy moves from. :)
